We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization based in New York City, dedicated to independent, fearless journalism that educates the public and challenges the mainstream narrative. We don’t just report the news—we shape the conversation.
Twist News is founded on a direct, in-the-field approach. We attend international events, meet with diplomats and political insiders, and ask the tough questions. Our analysis digs beneath the surface, spotlighting stories others ignore—especially those involving the European Union’s rise, transatlantic tensions, and Israel’s impact on the geopolitical balance.
Why We Exist
Most mainstream media continue to portray a U.S.-centric, unipolar worldview—ignoring the EU’s transformation into a formidable global power. Evangelical media often follow this same narrative, creating a blind spot in public understanding. The Twist News fills that gap.
We focus on three key blind spots:

Our Origin Story
After concluding her Bible prophecy series Prophecy Talk, Erika Grey, a geopolitical analyst and author of over 22 books, saw a widening gap in the way global news—especially EU-related developments—was being reported. Determined to correct the imbalance, she launched The Twist News as a platform for bold, clear-eyed analysis with global perspective.
At the 2019 Jerusalem Post Conference in New York, Erika met Don Pravda, a seasoned broadcaster with Ivy League roots and a leadership background in Jewish organizations. Sharing a passion for clarity and integrity in journalism, they co-founded The Twist News.
Their aim? To create a platform with wit, rebellion, and courage—one that goes behind the scenes, gets face-to-face with decision-makers, and tells the real story shaping our world.
